Emilio Pucci Unveil Their ‘Dubai’ Sneaker

The Emirates gets a dedicated design along with 10 other countries around the world

Sneakers of the World is the latest capsule collection from Italian fashion house Emilio Pucci. The brand celebrates cosmopolitan luxury sportswear by releasing 11 limited edition variations of the signature City Up style, which are inspired by iconic places around the world. The collection includes styles dedicated to Rome, Paris, London, Dubai, Moscow, Hong Kong, New York and, of course, Florence, where Pucci grew up and opened his first atelier.

Each shoe boasts a unique design of elastic bands and mini rouches, and has the respective city name embroidered on the back. “The idea of using large Pucci-coloured elastic bands matches both the brand’s aesthetic and the comfort that allows movement, exactly like the jersey for the dresses,” Laudomia Pucci, daughter of founder Emilio, tells Footwear News.
