Selma Benomar’s Eid collection is simply stunning
Crafted from luxurious textiles collected in Paris and Milan, Moroccan designer Selma Benomar’s eponymous label is well-known as the region’s go-to label for statement embellished kaftans. Worn by the who’s who of Arab celebrities including Miriam Said and Joelle Mardinian, each piece is handmade in the Dubai-based designer’s atelier.

Inspired by her long-time muse (and ambassador for the brand), Maysaa Maghrebi, Selma’s Eid collection was created for the modern Arab woman: “Mayssa showcases a style that is feminine yet fresh. She is someone a lot of women really admire and look up to. I wanted to create something for this gorgeous actress and friend of mine.”

Both the embellishments and colour palette of the collection were inspired by rare flora, with touches of gold, silver and high-shine gemstones adding an elegant touch to the designer’s show-stopping pieces.
