The Super Bowl Halftime show is a highly anticipated event each year and landing the coveted performer slot is no small feat. This year, Lady Gaga took up the mantle and even before the show began, we knew we were in for something special.
Tracking her prep for the big show on Instagram, Gaga made sure the world knew this was as much about fashion as it was about football.
Sharing pictures from her green room, the singer rocked a custom, sequinned, baby pink jersey and helmet as she warmed up her vocals:
Then at the Pregame, Gaga posed on the field wearing a black, Vera Wang two-piece ensemble (you know, #casual):
When it came time to hit the stage (or rather dive onto it from the roof of the stadium), Gaga donned an incredible embellished jumpsuit by Versace:
Before adding an equally statement-making gold jacket with spiked shoulders:
This was followed by a custom Atelier Versace cropped harness jersey and Swarovski-encrusted hot pants:
Before she flung herself off the stage to catch a bejewelled football emblazoned with her name:
