Initially scheduled for April then November 2020, Italian fashion house Giorgio Armani will finally be able to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its eponymous chain of hotels with a celebration quite like no other…

Consecutively postponed for obvious sanitary reasons linked to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 26th of October 2021 will witness another iteration of the group’s now world-recognised series of One Night Only events, this time taking place in the UAE’s crown jewel: Dubai.

Having been hosted across several global megalopolises including London in 2006, Tokyo in 2007, New York in 2013 or even Paris in 2014, the luxury label will show the world how to celebrate in style through a special fashion show to light up the city quite like no other event.

“I am very happy to return to Dubai after 11 years with one of my itinerant One Night Only,” designer Giorgio Armani said in an official statement.

At first, the label’s cruise collection was supposed to be showcased in the previously cancelled shows to go along with the reopening of the Giorgio Armani store at the Dubai Mall; however, details regarding the line to be previewed in the upcoming October display have not been released yet building enough excitement to keep us hanging around until then.

Coinciding with Expo 2020, which runs from October 1, 2021 through to March 31, 2022— the anticipated affair is the second notable fashion industry event, taking place in Dubai, to have been announced this year; a few weeks ago, Chanel revealed plans to showcase its Cruise 2022 collection in the emirate on November 2, 2021.
