Regional label Haa Designs has partnered with Kuwaiti fashion blogger Ascia Al Faraj on a capsule collection for Ramadan. Available exclusively on Middle Eastern e-tail platform Thouqi.com, the 20-piece collection channels Ascia’s signature modest and utilitarian style with structured kaftans, practical pocket, light-weight fabrics and a neutral palette in block colours.

The capsule was inspired by the Dishdasha, the traditional men’s dress in the GCC. Belts, structured silhouettes and masculine tailoring lend an androgynous aesthetic to the collection.

“I am delighted to collaborate with a like-minded designer such as Hanan from Haa Designs, who like me, believes in dressing traditionally with a contemporary twist,” says Ascia, who boasts 2.3million followers on Instagram, on the collaboration. “Not only this, but I couldn’t ask for a better platform than Thouqi.com for the collection to be exclusively stocked on as we all share the same passion of making modesty fashionable and showcasing what regional designers can do.”
