Gucci Is Launching A Home Décor Collection

Who needs Ikea when you can have high fashion furniture?

Say goodbye to your Ikea staples, Alessandro Michele is bringing his magic touch to homewear with a line of plates, trays, cushions, tables and candles and more interiors essentials launching this September. Decorated with the same snake, tiger, cat and floral motifs from his most recent Gucci collections, the range was announced via the brand’s Instagram page.

Introducing #GucciDécor: a lineup of furniture and decorative pieces designed by #AlessandroMichele to personalize home spaces, featuring the House’s design motifs, patterns and codes. As well as plush velvet cushions, scented candles and OTT wallpaper patterns (in silk, vinyl and paper varieties nonetheless), Michele created several pottery designs with the help of Richard Ginori, also announced via their social media; “Crafted from porcelain and produced by Richard Ginori (@manifatturarichardginori), the renowned Florentine company founded in 1735, a glimpse at the #GucciDécor scented candles and incense burner embellished with motifs inspired by the House aesthetic. Designed by #AlessandroMichele.”
