Jennifer Aniston’s Golden Globes Dior Gown Required 200 Hours Of Craftsmanship

The bespoke haute couture creation was inspired by Monsieur Dior’s archives

Jennifer Aniston looked every part the belle of the ball as she took over the 2020 Golden Globes red carpet in a bespoke black Dior Haute Couture gown. Made with 25 meters of wool silk crepe, the dress, which was especially designed for Jennifer by Dior’s Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri, was inspired by Monsieur Dior’s archives.

The sculptural strapless style required 200 hours of craftsmanship by three of Dior’s petites mains, the atelier’s most skilled artisans who are responsible for bringing the maison’s impeccable haute couture creations to life using centuries-old traditions and techniques. The masterpiece, which featured a fitted bodice with ruffled detailing, a belted waist and a hip-hugging, trumpet-style skirt with a dramatic train brought Dior’s iconic sophisticated Parisian aesthetic to the Golden Globes ceremony.

Jennifer Aniston paired the stunning gown with a vintage Cartier necklace; the perfect accomplice for her custom Dior Haute Couture gown. The necklace, which was initially designed in 1950s featured two strands of dazzling round and baguette diamonds. To complete her show-stopping look, Jennifer opted for soft bronze makeup and loose waves for a look that was effortless, glam and elegant all at once.
