This Victoria’s Secret Model Chose A Middle Eastern Designer For The CFDA Fashion Awards
And she had an unusual choice of footwear
Last night, The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) held their annual award ceremony at the Brooklyn Museum. The fashion industry’s leading talents walked the red carpet, pulling out all the style stops.
Bazaar cover girls Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Kim Kardashian West, Emily Ratajkowski and Joan Smalls were all there – and certainly didn’t disappoint in the style stakes, but one of our favourite looks was from Victoria’s Secret model Josephine Skriver who stepped out in Lebanese label Zuhair Murad.
The 25-year old Danish beauty chose an invory-coloured tea-length dress. In true Zuhair Murad style, the grown boasted a romantic, full tulle skirt, a sheer bodice and plenty of delicate embellishments and beading.
The supermodel paired her look with Sarah Flint “Luisa D’Orsay” flats in gold silk – an unusual choice of shoe given the formal dress code – a sparkly clutch and a dramatic bold lip.
