Celebrating exquisite mini-couture, #LeTheatreDior is making a big impact

Marrying fashion with history amid a theatrical flurry of miniature couture gowns, Le Théâtre Dior, opens its doors today at The Dubai Mall, Fashion Catwalk, for a two-week stop on the travelling exhibition, which is inspired by Théâtre de la Mode, a 1945–1946 touring exhibit of fashion mannequins, approximately 1/3 the size of human scale, crafted by top Paris fashion designers.

It tells the story of Dior’s soul, spirit and style from the beginning in 1947 under the creative eye of Monsier Christian Dior, to its 21st century reincarnation under the recently resigned Raf Simons.
