Exclusive: The First Look Inside Mall of the Emirate’s New Fashion Destination

Opening today, the space will house three new luxury boutiques: Jimmy Choo, Marni and Alexander McQueen

Before opening its doors to the public for the first time today, Bazaar was granted an exclusive, all-access pass to the new luxury fashion avenue in Mall of the Emirates. 

Jimmy Choo

The new Jimmy Choo boutique is the first dual-gender store in the UAE, housing all women’s collections, including eyewear, small leather goods and accessories in addition to a dedicated men’s area which will offer shoes and accessories. The 183m² store, the largest in the UAE, was designed in line with the brand’s global concept (which was developed in partnership with David Collins Studio) and features the label’s signature colour palette of satin gold and pink marble with mink velvet accents. 

 

 

Marni

The newly renovated Marni store (the only one in the UAE) exclusively hosts the brand’s womenswear collection and brings elements of the past, such as the iconic sinuous steel rails, into the brand’s current interior aesthetic. Sage green sofas meet marble floors whilst concrete shelving and brushed brass boxes are home to the accessory offerings in-store. It’s as much a feast for the eyes, as it is for your wallet. 

 

 

Alexander McQueen

In exciting news for McQueen fans, the new store in Mall of the Emirates is the second in Dubai, and also the biggest in the region. Sitting at an impressive 217m², the lavish, single-floor store features three distinct areas: handbags and shoes, men’s ready-to-wear and accessories, and women’s ready-to-wear and accessories, all designed in line with Sarah Burton’s creative vision. In addition to offering seasonal collections, the store will also stock the brand’s classic pieces to provide customers with a full brand experience in-store.
