Mango Launches Their New Sustainable Capsule: The “Committed” Collection

Saskia De Brauw is the face of the brand’s latest ethical line of garments

In a world where we are growing ever more conscious of our impact on the environment, many shoppers are keen to make more ethical choices. Mango is at the forefront of the change, with its fourth capsule collection that breathes new life into recycled fabrics.

The Committed collection, which was shot in Aiguas Tortas nature park, is fronted by model Saskia De Brauw. As well as her work in front of the camera, she is artist who places a large focus on reclaimed objects, making her the perfect face of the campaign.

The collection features recycled wool, natural materials, and fabrics made from sustainable fibres. The garments are beautifully simple, making them ideal wardrobe staples, in shades like white, brown and aubergine.

And Mango’s sustainable fashion initiatives don’t stop there. The brand is showing its commitment to fashion with a conscience by setting a goal to increase its use of sustainable fibres, with 50 percent sustainable cotton by 2022.

Mango also has a Second Chances project that recycles clothing and footwear, allocated garments to local recycling, international re-use, up cycling and energy recovery.
