Meghan Markle Wears Stella McCartney And Princess Diana’s Aquamarine Ring To Wedding Reception
Her second outfit included her something borrowed and her something blue
Hours after walking down the aisle in a couture Givenchy gown designed by Clare Waight Keller, the newly wed stepped out wearing a second dress, designed by Stella McCartney for her wedding reception.

The silk halter-neck gown was accessorised with satin Aquazzura pumps that boasted baby blue soles as Meghan’s “something blue”. Markle wore a pair of Cartier’s Reflection de Cartier earrings in white gold and diamonds.

And that wasn’t the only pop of blue the new Duchess of Sussex wore to the reception – Meghan was also photographed wearing Princess Diana’s aquamarine ring. It’s unclear whether the cocktail ring is a gift from Prince Harry to his new bride, or whether Markle simply wore is as a sartorial tribute to the late princess and her “something borrowed”.

The former Suits actress waved her statement sparkler at the crowd before the newlyweds hoped in a 1968 Jaguar to their evening reception at Frogmore House.

Princess Diana first wore the ring to an auction of her wardrobe at Christies back in 1997.
