Missoni Collaborates With MyTheresa.Com For An Activewear Capsule Collection

If only all our workout gear was this chic

With the fashion world’s love of athleisure wear forever on the rise it rarely surprises, yet still delights us when designer brands dip their toes into the world of sport. This time it’s Missoni and luxury online retailer MyTheresa.com who have partnered up to collaborate on a wonderfully colourful, capsule collection. After all, we’d expect nothing less from the Italian fashion house.

Launching tomorrow worldwide, this will be the first collection of its kind from Missoni who have yet to stretch their reach from swimwear into sporting wear. Choosing MyTheresa as their partners for the venture, creative director for the brand Angela Missoni said, “There is a trend in activewear and as I felt this part of the wardrobe was missing from my regular collection; this is why I created this activewear capsule.”

For the designs which feature the iconic Missoni stripe, Angela used her niece Jennifer Missoni as the inspiration for the six-piece capsule collection. A self-proclaimed yoga lover based out of Los Angeles, the images and video shows Jennifer in a sequence of stretchy poses shot at Angela’s villa in north Milan. From a jumpsuit to tops and leggings, we’re sure we’ll be spying these pieces snapped in the gym to the street.
