A Pop-Up Showcasing Emerging UAE-Based Fashion Talent Is Launching This Week For Eid Al-Adha

The Dubai Design & Fashion Council (DDFC) has teamed up with Chalhoub Group to introduce the NASMA pop-up event that aims to showcase and give a platform to emerging talent in the fashion industry in the UAE.
“We are delighted to announce the NASMA Pop Up, and to work once more with the support from the Chalhoub Group in another exciting opportunity,” says Jazia Al Dhanhani, CEO of DDFC. “Creating platforms that elevates and highlights local and UAE-based designers is an integral part of our mandate. The NASMA Pop Up will feature some of our most talented members, and present audiences in the UAE with the latest collections from home-grown designers.”
The pop-up will see fashion, jewellery and accessory designers, including Dee by Dalia, Amira Haroon, Arshys, Blanc 8.3, Mounay, Sotra, Annada, Azra, By Shurooq and Dori, who will all present their work at Galeries Lafayette, Robinsons and Tryano throughout the months of August and September.
“Opportunities developed by DDFC such as the NASMA Pop Up have been fundamental in raising awareness and connecting the local creative community with buyers” Hessa Ozair of Posearazzi said in a statement about the event. “Such platforms gives us designers the chance to showcase our collections and products to a wider audience, and enable more business and recognition from local consumers.”
The NASMA pop-up will take place between 15 August and 29 September at Galeries Lafayette in The Dubai Mall, Robinsons in Festival City and Tryano at Yas Mall.
