Perrin Paris Collaborate With Zaha Hadid

The late architect began work on the capsule collection of clutch bags before her passing

Reimagining the brand’s iconic glove clutch, Perrin Paris have collaborated with the design studio of the late Zaha Hadid to create a limited edition collection that’s thoughtfully inspired by the Iraqi-British architect’s signature aesthetic of fluid yet structured curves.

Consisting of three metallic and five colour finishes, the seven-piece collection explores a wide palette of shades from eye-catching electric blue to classic black and white as well as more muted blush tones.  

The partnership was greenlit by Hadid herself before her passing last year after she received a Perrin Paris clutch as a gift in 2015 and began discussing a possible collection with the founders of the artisan accessories brand. The extended design process was subsequently carried out by her in-house team to completion, with each piece crafted in leather with one of three ‘glove’ sculpture designs – the ‘Strae’, ‘Loop’ or ‘Mobi’ – nodding to some of the Pritzker Prize-winning visionary’s most recognizable work.
