London Fashion Week Will Include A Mix of Physical and Digital Events

Over 30 designers have confirmed they will showcase their Ready-To-Wear SS2021 collections later on in the month

While the upcoming New York Fashion Week: Women’s SS2021 will be adapting to a fully digital platform for the upcoming ready-to-wear fashion season, things will be different on the other side of the pond…

According to WWD, over 80 designers are set to showcase their newest collections later on this month at London Fashion Week, which will take place from September 18 to September 22 with a mix of both “physical” and digital events.

The British Fashion Council (BFC) confirmed there will be seven shows which will occur in the presence a small, select audience (with appropriate social distancing protocols in place), while 21 other designers will be displaying their work in a combination of both digital and “physical” events. Meanwhile, the remaining 50 designers will showcase their collections digitally.

The guestlist will include a majority of local individuals with limited international visitors from key fashion markets, such as France and Spain.

“LFW is one of the few international events to still be going ahead in London, proving the industry’s resilience, creativity and innovation in difficult times,” says the Council.
