Queen Rania Steps Out Wearing All Things Mochi
And schools us all in wearing some of spring/summer’s biggest trends
Queen Rania has made her love of Middle Eastern designers no secret. After being spotted out several times in Dubai-based brands Reemami and Bambah Boutique, the royal visited one of the schools in her Madrasati program wearing Palestinian label All Things Mochi.
The mother-of-four wore the ‘Emma’ dress from the brand’s autumn/winter 2018 collection, which was inspired by “authentic people who have their own individual eclectic style”. She paired the look with one of spring/summer’s favourite trends that have been seen on the feet of Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Kim Kardashian and plenty more style icons: white booties. Ayah Tabari, founder of Mochi, says she is “humbled and honoured” to have the queen wear her designs.
Tabari’s latest designs, which are available now to pre-order, boast a signature checked weaving technique, which is traditionally practised by the Hmong tribe from Thailand. The tribal-inspired pieces represent ancient hidden scripts from the Far East.
Her Majesty joined 300 students from around the country at Millennium Park in Amman to celebrate the achievements of the initiative’s Masahati student club programme. The Queen of Jordan shared a photo on her Instagram page writing, “during my participation earlier today in one of Madrasati‘s programs.”
