How Rene Caovilla Are Supporting Upcoming Regional Designers
The future of footwear
What, exactly, does it take for up-and-coming regional designers to have their sketches turned into sleek stilettos or on-trend mules? Rene Caovilla, the luxury Italian footwear brand, is here to help budding designers realise their dream.
For the time time ever, Rene Caovilla has announced the launch of its first ever Middle Eastern shoe design competition. In partnership with UAE-based brand experience agency Tea Before Noon, the duo have selected four GCC designers as finalists. Suhaila Al Shaali, Ahad bin Haider, Buthaina Fahad, and Dalia Darwish will now enter a design process, starting with an intensive brand workshop, before going on to create their own shoe designs for the Rene Caovilla brand.
