Roberto Cavalli Opens First Store In Iran
The boutique is now open for business
Roberto Cavalli revealed this weekend that it had opened a boutique in Tehran, the brand’s first in the region since the sanctions were lifted in January.
WWD reports that the 3,780-square-foot store, which is located in the Zafaraniyeh district, is home to the brand’s women’s and men’s lines, plus the junior, gym, eyewear and home collections.
Home to 80 million people, the region is set to be a focus for international luxury brands in the coming months and years. “We think that Iran is set to become a very interesting market for luxury products, and we are happy to be among the first to open a monobrand store in Tehran,” Renato Semerari, the CEO of Iessidra Sgr (the private equity firm that owns Roberto Cavalli) told press.
