Shop All Your Favourite Arab Designers At Virtual Pop-Up EASTWAVE This Weekend
The concept aims to support established and emerging talent by showcasing a curated selection of their pieces on various established platforms
EASTWAVE describes itself as a ‘fluid and transformative experience that accommodates sustainable operations and enables brands to reach new customers worldwide’.Â
Curated by Dana of Fashion Collective LA, Judy of LFHM Middle East and Christian of Bureau Des Créateurs, and with the support of TATA PR agency based in LA, the goal of the concept is to support MENA designers in showcasing their stories to international audiences who care about bespoke and artisanal craftsmanship from the region.
Each ‘season’ of EASTWAVE will be hosted by like-minded platforms that share a similar mission: to pave the road for brands to share their diverse stories and disrupt the status quo.
Their first season will be hosted by Maison Orient, a curated e-commerce platform for brands, designers and artists from the “Orient” aiming to introduce brands to a wider global audience and tell their stories.Â
Season One will feature 16 regional designers including Mrs Keepa, Aliel, Roni Helou, Nemozena, Zaid by Zaid Farouki, Jeux De Mains, Rula Galayini and BLSSD, to name a few.
EASTWAVE is set to launch on August 1 as a virtual online pop-up. For more information visit eastwave.maisonorient.com
