Here’s where you can buy the plaid Erdem number

As seen on the runways of Emilia Wickstead, Michael Kors, Versace and plenty more, check, plaid and tartan are proving to be one of autumn/winter’s biggest trends this year. Ever the fashion-forward dresser, the Duchess of Cambridge stepped out in a tweed midi dress that tackled the trend perfectly.

The royal arrived at the London’s Victoria & Albert Museum, of which she is a patron, and wore the autumnal dress of dreams, which is available on Net-a-Porter for Dhs11,285, from British fashion house Erdem. She paired the look with a maroon belt, Jimmy Choo burgundy velvet pumps – another sartorial front-runner for the current season, and a Jimmy Choo box clutch.

Earlier this week, Kate Middleton stepped out in a pastel purple Emilia Wickstead dress and Aspinal of London ‘Mayfair’ bag to the Global Ministerial Mental Health Summit with Prince William.

Known for her sustainable approach to dresses, this is the second time the mother-of-three has worn the Emilia Wickstead number out to a formal occasion. The dress, which is aptly named “Kate,” has also been worn by the royal for an appearance in Hamburg during the Cambridge’s royal tour of Poland and Germany last summer.
