The New Chanel Boutique In Dubai Mall Has Finally Opened

The largest Chanel boutique in the Emirates has returned with timeless masterpieces and aesthetics that intertwine heritage and modernity

First launched in the heart of downtown Dubai a decade ago in 2009, Chanel has just reopened its Dubai Mall boutique on 14 June with an extended space of over 715 square metres with a ground floor devoted entirely to ready-made bags, shoes, accessories, fragrances, fine jewellery and watches.

Designed by New York-based American architect Peter Marino, the two-story boutique boasts two new entrances on the ground floor with a transformative wall concept that will continuously showcase the latest collections. 

The refurb has unveiled a costume jewellery section next to a display dedicated to Les Exclusifs de Chanel fragrances that are inspired by the life of the legendary Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel.

A mixed-accessories section features a display of Chanel’s newest leather goods, eyewear, watches and fine jewellery from the iconic Camélia and Coco Crush collections next to a brand new expansive shoe area.

A continuous supporter of the arts, the salons feature a limestone French-style fireplace, mirrored screens and a ceramic lion sculpture designed by Bruno Gambone, while the three fitting rooms of the boutique are adorned with  specially-commissioned works by Shelter Serra, Martin Kline and Alasdair Cook.

The renovation of the boutique has transformed Chanel’s largest boutique in the UAE into a conceptual experience that embraces history, art and fashion simultaneously.
