How One Designer Is Supporting The Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon In The Wake of The Beirut Explosion
Hussein Bazaza has announced he will be donating all proceeds from his ARCHIVES PROJECT VOL.1 orders to the center
In the weeks since the Beirut blast, the artistic community has come together to provide relief in a myriad of ways to aid the ongoing efforts in Lebanon — and Lebanese designer Hussein Bazaza is doing his part to contribute by raising funds for the Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon.
Hussein, whose own atelier suffered damage due to the impact of the blast, is passionate about his endeavour and hopes to spread the word as much as possible in order to raise the highest possible amount of funds.
“Twenty days later, and it feels like only yesterday the Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon’s little patients had to live through the most terrifying blast in Beirut’s history and sadly witness their lively sanctuary broken. Many other children suffering from cancer had to be transferred from other hospitals that had been badly damaged to the already shattered CCCL who welcomed them with arms wide open,” he writes within a caption on Instagram. “We truly only have each other now as they are in dire need of our support.”
All purchases made from Bazaza’s Archives Project Vol.1 collection between the remainder of August and October will go towards the CCCL.
