This Plus-Sized Fashion Brand Just Launched Activewear

Say hello to MRN

Marina Rinaldi, the fashion label that caters to women of all sizes, has launched a capsule collection of activewear for the first time.

As part of the spring/summer 2020 collection, the capsule, titled MRN, is inspired by surfing, kitesurfing and being outdoors by the beach in the sun, sea and sand.

The styles have been designed with ergonomic cuts and technical fabrics to maximise the practicality of the performancewear, whilst the fun and fresh colourways lends itself to a stylish lifestyle ensemble, meaning you can expect BAZAAR to wear these pieces whilst out and about on the weekend.

And it’s not just ready-to-wear sports gear in the MRN line-up, the capsule also boasts sneakers, a gym bag and a metal whistle charm necklace.

“I’m so glad the fashion industry is not just talking about curves anymore. They’re actually doing something about it,” says body activist, model and face of Marina Rinaldi, Ashely Graham, when she came to Dubai. “We’re seeing them on the runway, on the covers of magazines, in movies and I want to see more of that. I see women with hourglass figures everywhere and I always wonder why they’re no represented in fashion. I’m hoping in a few years we don’t have to have conversations about curvy girls because it will be the norm.”
