This UAE-Based Label Will Be Showcasing At London Fashion Week For The First Time

Three Fifty Nine, the UAE-based fashion label founded by Marwa Sayed in 2015, has been announced as the winner of this year’s Dubai Design & Fashion Council (DDFC) x FAD Institute of Luxury, Fashion & Style Dubai (FAD Dubai) competition, which aims to provide a platform for emerging designers.

Three Fifty Nine will go on to showcase their spring/summer 2019 collection at Fashion Scout London, an independent platform for creative and international designers that has nurtured some of the biggest names in the industry at the beginning of their career, including Peter Pilotto, David Koma, Eudon Choi and Phoebe English, at Freemasons’ Hall, from 14 to 17 September.

“I’m thrilled to have been selected as the winner of DDFC x FAD Dubai Fashion Scout London,” says the Egyptian-born designer. “It’s an incredible platform for emerging designers to present their collections at London Fashion Week and I am overjoyed to be amongst the designers showcasing at the renowned event. I would like to thank DDFC and FAD Dubai for this opportunity and for all their support, it’s a dream come true!

This marks the fourth year of DDFC x FAD’s annual fashion showcase platform. The opportunity is an open call inviting fashion designers to apply for a chance to present their work at London Fashion Week.
