It’s all about layering

Luxury online fashion platform The Modist has unveiled its own label, just a year after launching.

Layeur offers modest, fashionable pieces in a variety of different prints – from vintage-inspired, to bold florals and leopard prints – with the attitude that modest dressing doesn’t have to be limiting.

“We believe that a multitude of layers make up who you are,” explains founder and CEO Ghizlan Guenez. “They tell your story and with the launch of Layeur, a luxury label dedicated to creating must-have pieces for the modern, modest dresser, we want to celebrate that. We really listened to our customers, considering their needs and desires when approaching design, from the opacity, weight and cut of the fabric ensuring women get the coverage they need whilst also the fashion and comfort that fuels how they feel.”

The collection includes wardrobe staples as well as statement pieces for day to night dressing. There are floaty dresses and kaftans as well as loose tailored jackets and structured trousers. You’ll also find fitted turtlenecks and tops, perfect for wearing underneath.

Many of the pieces have matching separates that can either be layered or mixed with the rest of the collection.
