Virtual Influencer NooNoouri Makes Middle Eastern Debut In Burj Khalifa Photoshoot
The avatar wore Zuhair Murad for the July issue of Harper’s Bazaar Arabia
NooNoouri, an avatar who is fast becoming a famous style muse, has made her Middle Eastern debut.
The so-called virtual influencer wore a stunning made-to-measure dress by Zuhair Murad for a virtual shoot in Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, with the city’s stunning skyline in the background. This marks NooNoouri’s Harper’s Bazaar debut, appearing in Mohammed Sultan’s July 2018 Best Dressed List.
Showing his signature sense of humour Murad said that he may have found a new niche: “I absolutely love the dress on her!” he commented. “I guess while designing I should also add ‘Fashionable Avatars’ on my target list.”
NooNoouri has amassed over 71,000 followers on Instagram since joining earlier this year, and her tagline “cute. curious. couture” is clearly appealing to the style set.
The brain behind this 18-year-old character who lives in Paris is Joerg Zuber. Although the avatar he has created is fictional, NooNoouri’s influencer status is very real, having secured collaborations with brands like Saint Laurent and Riccardo Tisci.
But it doesn’t just stop at beautiful images on Instagram. Mirroring the journey that other influencers take their followers on, NooNoouri has took over Dior’s Instagram for the brand’s cruise show on 25 May, documenting the trip from her arrival at the hotel to all the action backstage.
She’s also branched out into YouTube, filming a tutorial wth Kim Kardashian’s brand KKW.
