Sometimes a timepiece comes along that is so unique, it exceeds the realms of reality. Such is the case with Baume & Mercier’s ‘haute couture’ collection of watches based on its classic Promesse model. Les Exceptionelles, a collection of three one-of-a-kind creations, showcases both the creativity of the horologist and the mischievous, audacious and mysterious nature of the Promesse wearer. The three designs will be auctioned for charity later this year following a round-the-world tour, including a Dubai stop during which Bazaar secured exclusive access.
