Watch: The House of Gucci Trailer Is Officially Here

From Lady Gaga’s one-liners to the superb 1980’s inspired costumes, we’re already obsessed…

While some of us haven’t set foot inside of a cinema in over a year, House of Gucci will soon have you rushing to the box office – and for good reason too.

If the award-winning cast and superb wardrobe – best described as authentic 1980’s dream, brought to life by Costume Designer Janty Yates – isn’t enough of a reason to sit in a theatre with other fashion fans Ridley Scott’s interpretation, using his creative eye to tell the tale of a murder that rocked the fashion industry almost 25 years ago, the dark story behind the Gucci family certainly is. 

Based on the book The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed by Sara Gay Forden, the film follows the events in the lead up to Maurizio Gucci’s untimely death and, as we’re all well aware by now, stars some of the biggest names in Hollywood: Lady Gaga and Adam Driver in the lead roles of Patrizia and Maurizio Gucci, with Jared Leto playing Paolo Gucci, Al Pacino in the role of Aldo Gucci and Salma Hayek portraying Giuseppina “Pina” Auriemma.

And while the film appears to be more of a biographical-meets-true-crime flick than fashion film, the costumes naturally steal the show as Janty Yates works her magic, transforming Lady Gaga into the role of the Italian heiress. From an array of style and drama to Lady Gaga’s bold Bulgari look, we’re simply obsessed with the trailer.

While it has yet to be announced when House of Gucci will premiere in the MENA region, stateside fans will be able to watch the film on November 24.
