From virtual interviews to masterclasses and much more, here’s a quick recap of everything that happened throughout the past few days at Mall of The Emirates
That’s a wrap! World of Fashion 2020, presented by Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, in partnership with Mall of The Emirates, concluded yesterday evening after five days of exciting virtual interviews, masterclasses, events and much more, all in celebration of fashion, art and the power of women.

The five-day exhibition kicked off with opening night on Tuesday, October 13 where a screening of short fashion film by Emirati filmmaker Thabit Al Mawaly, “A Night At The Mall,” was screened. Starring Layla Kardan, Amal Murad, Alia Al Neyadi, Nadya Hasan, and Joyce Amil curious guests watched as the ladies took The Mall of The Emirates by storm during after hours.
The screening was followed by a Q&A, where both the director and the talent discussed what it was like to shoot the movie throughout the course of two nights in the empty mall.
But, of course, everyone was obsessed with the with the Charlotte Tilbury make-up station and living mural wall — just one of the fun activations guests were able to experience while exploring World of Fashion 2020.
The next day was all about learning the tricks of the trade. Gucci Beauty taught a fragrance masterclass and shared insight into the magic of layering scents.

Day Three of World of Fashion 2020 marked a monumental moment for women across the Arab region. In the afternoon, the Arab Woman Awards were hosted at the Central Galleria as the ceremony celebrated women and their achievements in 2020, amongst the adversity we face every day — especially so related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Friday was the most cheerful day of the event with festivities for the little fashionista in our lives. The little ones were invited down to World of Fashion 2020 to create art, as mums shopped and mingled amongst the balloon animal arts.

On Day Four contemporary Emirati artist Zeinab Al Hashemi joined us on-stage for a live interview about her beautiful Swarovski art installation, that was on display throughout the five-day event.
But the final event of the week could not have been more inspiring — not to mention tempting, for those shopaholics out there — as Rosemin was joined on stage by a member from Christian Louboutin’s team for a presentation of the latest Autumn/Winter 2020 trends.

Neverthless, the last day of World of Fashion 2020 was bittersweet.
A big thank you to all of our partners — including Ladurée, Charlotte Tilbury, Harvey Nichols Dubai, and Sisters Beauty Lounge — and Mall of The Emirates for making it all happen.
We look forward to seeing you next year!
