World of Fashion 2020: Weekend Highlights
Couldn’t make it down to Mall of The Emirates? Here’s what happened throughout Day Four and Five of the festivities
The World of Fashion 2020 by Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, in partnership with Mall of the Emirates officially came to an end yesterday evening after five days full of events, virtual interviews and masterclasses, and much more.
The last two days of the event were filled with fun activities and glamour, as the weekend kicked off on a cheerful note with a children’s party on Friday afternoon. Hosted by Bazaar contributing luxury editor Rosemin Madhavji and Edwina Viel, there were plenty of things for the little ones to experience and play with as mums perused racks of adorable childrens clothing by the likes of Burberry and Armani Emporio.

Later on in the evening, a virtual interview with Huda Beauty founder and chairwoman Huda Kattan was screened on stage, as the beauty-blogger-turned-make-up-mogul shared insights into the future of the industry, inclusivity within beauty and how she still experiences Imposter Syndrome, despite her success.

Saturday’s agenda included an on-stage interview with Zeinab Al Hashemi, who created the beautiful Swarovski art installation on display at World of Fashion 2020; the artist shared her inspiration behind the masterpiece, along with her own story as an artist and her passion for art.
The last presentation of the World of Fashion 2020 was hosted by Rosemin, where she discussed A/W 2020 trends in a Christian Louboutin masterclass, sharing insights into the world of the brand and the story behind the red soles.

Needless to say World of Fashion 2020 certainly ended in style.
