Karl Lagerfeld’s feline friend is being made into a toy
She’s undoubtedly the most famous fashion feline in the world today, with 92,000 followers watching her every move and pampered lifestyle. So it comes as no surprise that Karl Lagerfeld’s treasured cat, Choupette will soon have her very own toy based upon her.
The German toy brand which dates back to over a century Steiff, will be in charge of capturing Choupettes soft white fur and bright blue eyes for the 2,000 limited edition toys. Famed for their iconic red and gold-plated button that sits on the ear of each of their creations, the Choupette toy will also come with her very own black leather magnetic mouse.
“Choupette is such a famous and beautiful cat that when this request came to me, I was not even surprised,” explained Lagerfeld in a statement. “Steiff is the perfect choice for this kind of collaboration. It’s the only company that has the required expertise to highlight the extreme and absolute refinement of this young princess.”
Exclusively launching on Karl.Com first and then filtering through to Karl Lagerfeld stores, the Choupette toy will cost just over Dhs1,950.
