Bella Hadid Opens Fendi A/W 2022 At Milan Fashion Week

Noughties-inspired dressing continues to live on as Italian fashion house Fendi unveiled their new ready-to-wear collection with a healthy dose of nostalgia yesterday, bringing back Y2K-infused memories with the glamour of the 1980’s, as American-Palestinian-Dutch supermodel Bella Hadid opened the show.

According to Harper’s Bazaar Australia, creative director Kim Jones mentions, “The best way to explore the FENDI archives is through the Fendi wardrobes. In exploring and reworking iconic house signatures with a fresh perspective.” Additionally, he elaborates that he drew inspiration from two collections by the late Karl Lagerfeld during his time at FENDI: S/S 1986 and A/W 2000.
