Qatar’s Fifty One East Celebrates Naja Saade With A Special Showcase

Showcasing pieces from the Spring Summer 2022 Couture Collection

Qatar’s leading department store Fifty One East was dazzled by design the last couple of days, as it hosts a two-day trunk show with none other than Naja Saade.

Featuring pieces from the designer’s latest collection, titled “The Dancing Soul”, the event at Fifty One East and the Bridal Lounge at Lagoona Mall was graced by the designer and VIP clientele.

In an exclusive interview with Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, designer Naja Saade quoted women as the main source of inspiration behind his designs. 

“The woman is always my best source of inspiration, from the mother, the bride, and the working woman. I am constantly in awe of all women for their femininity, gracefulness, intelligence, endurance and strength,” says Naja Saade. 

The female inspiration is evident In his new collection, paying tribute to the art of dancing. “The Dancing Soul” collection includes 32 dresses, each reflecting women’s emotions through waves, ruffles,  patterns and lush textures. The colorways range from soft shades of pistachio, beige rose, lilac and griege to traditional white and black. The looks are glamourized and accentuated with pearls, crystals and sequins. 

Known for mixing the classic style with modern inspiration, Naja Saade cites Fifty One East as the ideal space for the event.

“The support Fifty One East gives to the Arabic designers makes it an ideal space for my trunk show. Besides, we share the same objectives: Pampering Arab women and offering them the best,” says the designer. 

“I hope the show will be an out of the ordinary experience for the attendees. I want the visitors to leave Fifty One East feeling glamorous and unique, loved and admired.”
