The International Indian Film Academy Awards, commonly known as IIFA, is one of the most prestigious film award ceremonies in the Indian film industry. Established in 2000, it aims to honour excellence in Indian cinema and celebrate the achievements of actors, filmmakers, and technicians.
Known for its glitz and glamour and red carpet looks, the prestigious event takes place in different countries around the world each year and brings together a star-studded lineup of Bollywood celebrities, international guests, and fans from across the globe. The IIFA Awards recognises outstanding contributions in various categories such as Best Film, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director, and more. The winners are chosen through a combination of public voting and the decision of a jury panel comprising industry experts.
This year the 2023 IIFA took place at Yas Island, Abu Dhabi and included an array of Bollywood stars in attendance. From Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez to Varun Dhawan and Abhishek Bachchan, this year’s guest list was surely one to look out for.
