Last night one of the most prestigious fashion events, the 2023 Met Gala, took place in New York City, where A-listers and the crème de la crème of town celebrated late German designer Karl Lagerfeld’s life and legacy.
Attendees walked the red carpet in their best ensembles that went viral online. A few to mention were award-winning artist Rihanna, who opted for a white silk faille dress with a 5-meter long train and oversized floral detailing by Maison Valentino, American-Palestinian supermodel Gigi Hadid in a little Givenchy moment, and Bollywood star Alia Bhatt who made her debut at the gala in an elegant white Prabal Gurung ensemble.

However, one that stood out was Indian businesswoman and arts patron Isha M. Ambani, who attended the prestigious gala in a statement black satin sari gown by designer Prabal Gurung.
The ensemble featured hand-embellished detailing with crystals and pearls, adding a perfect touch of elegance and style. Marking her third-ever Met Gala appearance, Isha’s attire took inspiration from the Middle Eastern influencer on Karl Lagerfeld’s Chanel Cruise collection back in 2014.
Isha paired her sari with a statement Chanel handbag, and jewellery by Lorraine Schwartz, that perfectly completed her ensemble.
