Isha Ambani Wore A Blouse Made From Jewellery To The Pre-Wedding Festivities
The meticulously made piece was part of one of her outfits during Anant Ambani’s three-day pre-wedding festivities
In an incredible combination of haute couture and artisanal heritage, Indian label Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla created a custom bejewelled blouse for Isha Ambani for the marriage celebrations of her brother recently.
The extravaganza took place last weekend, from March 1 to 3, as Isha’s younger sibling Anant Ambani is set to marry Radhika Merchant.
During one of the events, Isha adorned an extensively embellished red lehenga (skirt) and choli (blouse) and the fashion house detailed the intricate work that went behind crafting it.

Every inch of the top was drenched in precious stones and metals with traditional Indian neckpieces and earrings sewn onto it.
The brand, run by renowned designer duo, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, posted a video on Instagram, sharing insight into how the elaborate garment was made.
The bejewelled blouse integrated pieces from Isha’s personal collection, along with new jewels sourced from the culturally rich regions of Gujarat and Rajasthan.
Sandeep said in the clip that he used “real, precious, some old, some new, jewellery for making [it]”.
Each ornament was meticulously placed on hand-drawn paper patterns and eventually embedded into the blouse with stitches of gold and silver Zardozi work – which is a handsewn technique of embroidery using a needle and thread, typically in gold or silver.

Sandeep also said that it was Anaita Shroff Adajania’s idea to incorporate Isha’s jewellery into the piece, who was Isha’s stylist for the occasion.
The three-day celebrations took place in India’s Jamnagar and were attended by the world’s business and tech elites as well as Bollywood stars.
