LES BENJAMINS Opens Its First Flagship Store in Dubai
Located in the Mall of the Emirates, this new location features an array of signature ready-to-wear items along with a limited edition collection exclusive for the region
Founded by famous designer Bunyamin Aydin in 2011, LES BENJAMINS is known for its super stylish ready-to-wear and accessories that are the perfect combination of comfort and fashion. And now, the popular Istanbul-based brand expands its legacy by introducing its first store in the region.
Located in the Mall of the Emirates, this new boutique features the crème de la crème from the lifestyle fashion house, including a limited-edition signature range just for the Dubai store. The latest exclusive pieces include 10 signature tracksuits, 100-piece tees, and more, making all Dubai shoppers (including us) super excited with the launch.
“We’ve always had a warm welcome from the region, especially as we’re unified in our vision of spreading a progressive Eastern movement. I’m always interested in amplifying the voices of the youth in the Middle East,” says Founder and Creative Director Bunyamin Aydin.
And that’s not all; the new store includes a Max Lamb-designed co-working space for anyone who wants to escape from the office, the perfect opportunity to shop and work in one spot.
Designed by architect Dong-Ping Wong, the boutique includes elements from Old Dubai heritage structures, along with a classic minimalist design layout that showcases a unique contemporary atmosphere, a must-visit for everyone in town.
“We used a traditional plaster technique most directly seen around the souks and structures of Old Dubai to balance out the classic luxury, glossy materials of both the mall and new Dubai as a whole. It’s a material with history, depth, and texture, interspersed with reflective, graphic and neon details. To create intimate spaces within a totally open floor plan, we looked to the Basilica Cistern in Old Istanbul, the city where Les Benjamins is from,” says renowned architect Dong-Ping Wong.
