It’s been one of the week’s most talked about looks; a grandiose Kendall Jenner turned 21 by partying at Catch in Los Angeles wearing a figure-skimming mini-dress, appropriately reminiscent of a disco ball, by Lebanese designer Antoine Salameh. The dress was created under his fashion house LaBourjoisie whilst working with direction from Jenner's stylist, for a reported cost of Dhs350,000.
Also catching Bazaar's eye is what was tucked discreetly in the model's hand – that perfectly accessorised lucite box bag. It's by a label already beloved by the women of Arabia for its strikingly chic structured clutches since launching in 2014, and having recently debuted a bespoke bridal collection, it's clear (sorry, couldn't help ourselves) that the work of Dubai-based ESMOD-graduate Lilian Afshar is legitimately capturing the eyes of the A-list too.
All in hand: The 'Lineas' Clutch, L'Afshar, Approximately Dhs3,500 (price varies with engraving options). Buy it online, here.
While Kendall's outfit in whole was the work of mastermind celebrity style queen Monica Rose, there needs to be more than a little credit given to Paris Hilton and her own 21st choice of dress worn a whopping 14 years ago – as detailed in Kendall's post-party Instagram referencing the model captioning, “Vintage Paris Hilton vibes”. What goes around comes around when it comes to lithe, model Hollywood socialites 'coming of age' style... Either way, it's a chain mail gang we want to be in.
