As this year’s edition of London Fashion Week comes to a close, Bazaar Arabia shares a list of exceptional Middle Eastern designers and their showstopping creations

In recent years, Arab designers have been making a mark on the international fashion scene, captivating audiences and earning their rightful place under the British capital’s spotlight.

From Nadine Merabi’s luxurious evening wear to Qasimi’s elegant ensembles, Bazaar Arabia shares the creations and narratives woven by talented Arab designers.

4 Regional Designers At LFW

Noon by Noor

Founded by Bahraini cousins Shaikha Noor Al Khalifa and Shaikha Haya Al Khalifa, Noon by Noor showcased its S/S 24′ collection ‘Moonlit’, a juxtaposition inspired by the contrast between the light and dark side of the moon.

Nadine Merabi

Nadine Merabi is known for her glamorous and sparkling designs, inspired by the bustling Lebanese nightlife. Through her S/S 24′ collection, Nadine captures the rich smells, exquisite dishes and beautiful landscapes of Tripoli, aiming to portray the celebration of life as captured on the streets of Lebanon.

Qasimi

Qasimi, founded by Emirati royal and fashion designer Khalid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, is known for its elegant, minimalistic and timeless looks, inspired by the merging of cultures and sophisticated usage of colour and pattern.

Atelier Zuhra

Founded by Omani designer Mouza Al Awfi, Atelier Zuhra showcased its A/W 24′ collection ‘Lily of the Valley’, a set of sculptural looks with unique luxurious materials appliquéd and presented with bold glamour.

Atelier Hekayat x ArAm Designs

The British Fashion Council collaborated with the Saudi film programme AlUla Creates to showcase the BFC x AlUla Creates: Atelier Hekayat and Aram Designs Presentation. Jeddah-based sisters Alia and Abeer Oraif designed a pompous Atelier Hekayat lavender tulle gown for supermodel Helena Christensen and collaborated with Arwa Alammari from ArAm Designs to present an exclusive catwalk collection. The ensembles featured well constructed exquisite regal patterns with voluminous and artistic designs.
