Rihanna Wears Not One But Two of Bollywood’s Favourite Designers To Fenty Hair Launch
The Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter-turned-beauty-mogul opted to accessorize her look with exquisite jewellery pieces by two fashion houses loved by the likes of Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor and Radhika Merchant
Last night in Los Angeles, at the much-anticipated launch of Fenty Hair, Rihanna took everyone’s breath away with her stunning appearance. The global icon stole the show, not just with her fashion, but with her exquisite jewellery from two of India’s most celebrated designers, Manish Malhotra and Sabyasachi.
The singer donned a jaw-droppingly stunning choker by Manish Malhotra, crafted in 18k gold and adorned with custom-cut rubies and diamonds. This piece, a true work of art, sparkled brilliantly, perfectly complementing her scarlet look.

Adding to the opulence was a three-drop necklace from Sabyasachi High Jewellery, featuring rubellite, tourmaline, and brilliant-cut diamonds. The necklace was a statement, showcasing Sabyasachi’s signature mix of traditional Indian elements with modern design.

Rihanna rocked a cherry-coloured midi dress with a low-cut neckline, showcasing her flawless figure. The addition of a matching leather jacket added an edge, while burgundy heels elevated the entire look—literally and figuratively.

Known for her ever-changing hairstyles, Rihanna decided to go natural for the Fenty Hair launch, embracing her honey-blonde curls. It was a refreshing, authentic look that beautifully complemented the event’s theme. This choice was a powerful nod to self-acceptance and the beauty of natural hair.
The Launch of Fenty Hair
The launch of Fenty Hair marks another milestone in Rihanna’s empire, joining her successful lines of beauty and skincare products. As she took to Instagram to announce the brand, Rihanna emphasised the importance of diversity in hair care: “You know how much switching my hair up matters to me. I’ve had almost every texture, colour, length, from weaves to braids to natural—so I am launching a flexible line of products for not only every hair want but every single product is designed to strengthen and repair all types of hair, which is what we truly need!”
Rihanna’s launch campaign for Fenty Hair was as innovative as expected. The colourful, lo-fi ad featured Rihanna wandering through Fenty-infused city streets and suburban sidewalks, flaunting her newly trimmed honey-blonde pixie cut. The ad showcased a variety of hair textures, maintenance staples, and styling essentials, highlighting Fenty Hair’s promise of inclusivity.
The anticipation for Fenty Hair has been building since a trademark was filed in March 2021, covering everything from styling and straightening to hair colour and even glitter. Fans eagerly await the official launch on June 13, excited about the prospect of adding more Fenty products to their beauty arsenal.
Rihanna’s choice to wear stunning pieces from Manish Malhotra and Sabyasachi underscore her impeccable taste and highlight the beauty of Indian design on an international stage. Once again, Rihanna proves why she’s a true fashion icon spreading the message of world-wide inclusivity through her fashion.
