How To Break Out Of A Style Rut Just In Time For Spring

From playful accessories to bright-hued frocks Bazaar shares a curated edit of this season’s must-have pieces, straight from Bloomingdale’s new SS21 campaign, that are all sure to elevate your mood…

“Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking.”

While Miranda Priestly from The Devil Wears Prada may have been the first to utter those words, many before and after her have felt similar sentiments towards the flora and fauna-inspired prints that always seem to make their way back into our closets in time for the warmer months of the year.

And while there’s nothing wrong with channeling a whole garden’s worth of flowers when dressing for spring, it’s certainly not the only way to embrace the positive energy that comes along with the change of season.

With nostalgia and throwback styles of yesteryear reigning supreme, and bold hues making a comeback, the options really are endless when it comes to adding bursts of colour to your wardrobe without being cliché.

Bloomingdale’s Spring/Summer 2021 Campaign, ‘Bloomie’s House’

Here, Bazaar shares a few ways to break out of a spring style rut sans floral print, all shoppable from Bloomingdale’s new Spring-Summer 2021 and featured within the latest campaign, both in-stores and online in the UAE, Kuwait and KSA.

The Bold and The Beautiful…

Nothing shouts (in a very gidy tone, of course) that warmer days ahead than fun bold and bright shades. Whether its a magenta power suit from MSGM or a canary yellow frock from Cecilie Bahnsen, these vivid hues add a much needed burst of color to your wardrobe, which is bound to get rid of those winter blues.

Both Cecilie Bahnsen and MSGM can be shopped at Bloomingdale’s in the UAE, Kuwait and KSA.

Think 90’s

Whether it’s a baby blue BY FAR shoulder purse or a pastel green Staud baguette-style bag, these 90’s inspired pieces continue to give us major Clueless vibes. Seen on most supermodel’s and A-listers’ shoulders, these powder-hued bags are the most adorable and chic ways to elevate your springtime wardrobe.

Both BY FAR and Staud can be found at Bloomingdale’s in the UAE, Kuwait and KSA

Shapes and Textures Galore

Funky shapes and textures are what deliver the positive energy that comes along with the change of season. With eyelet leather, Malone Souliers’ ankle-tie pumps and Gianvito Rossi’s funky high-heeled sandals are perfect for the warmer months as they allow for both comfort and style with their breathable (and chic) designs.

Both Malone Souliers and Gianvito Rossi can be found at Bloomingdale’s in the UAE, Kuwait and KSA
