Put pen to paper with Romeo + Jules…

Scalloped edges, vibrant stripes, playful squiggles and multi-coloured leopard prints are just some of the hand-drawn designs adorning the stationery at Romeo + Jules, created by former luxury magazine Art Director, Jennifer Grant.

The notecards, menus, placecards and writing paper – all of which can be customised – were created by the self-made entrepreneur who discovered a gap in the market after the birth of her second child.

“I went searching for a certain aesthetic of stationery and when it couldn’t be found, I made my own,” she reveals. “The business grew slowly as I created notecards and invitations for friends. Little by little, I realised there was a need for modern stationery.”

Jennifer’s energetic and colourful patterns lend an artisan feel to the range. “We are brave in both our design decisions and our love of patterns and we want to bring that aesthetic to Dubai,” says the mum-of-two who has recently opened a studio in the UAE. Along with offering an abundance of beautiful stationery, the multidisciplinary creative studio also offers branding and art direction.

In a world of WhatsApps, DMs and emails, we long to put pen to paper, especially when it’s decorated with seashells and stripes. romeoandjules.studio
