Just in time for summer, the award-winning singer-songwriter and actress is teaming up with La’Mariette to create her own collection
If there was one thing we took away from recently speaking with Selena Gomez on the international launch of Rare Beauty, it’s that we need more of her energy within our lives. The award-winning singer-songwriter and actress can best be described as an old soul at heart, someone who is passionate yet level-headed about championing her own respective causes, be it mental health or helping her fans to feel comfortable in their own skin.
While she is widely known as an award-winning performer, producer and, now, global entrepreneur, we were hardly surprised to learn that she’s now added a line of swimwear to her grown empire…
Selena recently unveiled her latest collaboration with La’Mariette, an “. . . inclusive swimwear brand that promotes self-love and acceptance,” according to the artist’s Instagram post.
Co-founded by Theresa Mingus and Morgan Brutocao, the brand holds a special place for Theresa, who is the former assistant and dear friend – so it only makes sense that this collaboration is a meaningful project for everyone involved.
Named “Aura,” the collection launched yesterday and can be shopped online. Ranging from bikini and wrap tops, to bottoms and one pieces in every size, the line offers a selection of styles, perfect for all body types.
Once again, Selena manages to hold true to her values and work on a project (and at such a fitting time) that best radiates her unwavering support of body positivity.
