Victoria Beckham Shares A Very Special Behind-The-Scenes Snap From Her LFW Digital Show
The Beckham family have a tradition of sitting front row, in support of the new collection — and this fashion week was no exception
Despite difficult times for designers around the world and the challenging new circumstances when it comes to navigating digital fashion weeks, some are finding silver linings in their adaptions to the “new norm” of presenting their collections to a virtual audience — and celebrating those who are able to “attend” in person.
Victoria Beckham took to Instagram to share an adorable family picture of her only guests for her SS2021 collection presentation.
“My favourite (and only) guests this season!” she wrote within the caption
Showing up in style to the “show” included her husband David Beckham, and three of their children (their oldest son, Brooklyn is current in New York with fiancée Nicola Peltz, to which Victoria wrote “we missed you.”)
London Fashion Week has been very different this season due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, as many designers are coming up with fresh (virtual) ideas and showcases when it comes to sharing their latest collection with the world.
“Limitations can be liberating. Working remotely, for this collection we reacted spontaneously. We were instinctive,” reads a statement on Victoria Beckham’s website.
Fans were quick to comment their respect toward the family, and applauded Victoria for abiding by socially distant guidelines.
The Spring Summer 2021 presentation was shared virtually on victoriabeckham.com, with a video broadcasting the runway, and individual digitals of all the looks.
“This collection is about freedom – to explore, to dress up, to be yourself” the British designer says. “There’s a fluidity and ease. Really, it’s about a true wardrobe.”
