Courtroom Chic: 5 Times Gwyneth Paltrow Made The Stand Her Runway

The Oscar-winning actress is to be paid $1 in damages and legal fees

Bazaar Arabia has curated a list of 5 times Gwyneth Paltrow made the stand her runway.

After jurors deliberated for two hours on Thursday, Gwyneth Paltrow was found ‘not liable’ and ruled in her favour saying the retired optometrist, Terry Sanderson, was “100%” at fault for the accident that took place on the slopes.

It all began seven years ago on a snowy slope at Deer Valley Resort in Utah when Terry claimed the American actress ploughed into him on a beginner slope resulting in lasting injuries. Gwyneth, however, claimed Terry was actually the one who ran into her.

The trial would not begin until March 23, 2023 after Terry sued Gwyneth for $3.1 million (later amending the complaint to $300,000), claiming the collision left him with prolonged injuries and brain damage.

After the verdict was given, Gwyneth took to her Instagram stories saying, “I felt that acquiescing to a false claim compromised my integrity. I am pleased with the outcome and I appreciate all of the hard work of Judge Holmberg and the jury, and thank them for their thoughtfulness in handling this case.”

Despite the utter seriousness that was this long-awaited court case, watchers went straight to TikTok and Twitter to share their thoughts with main takeaways consisting of the Oscar-winner’s controversial “Well, I lost half a day of skiing,” statement and her minimalistic ensembles…

Suited and Booted

Looking bold as the Oscar-winner walks to her seat, Gwyneth wears a grey tweed co-ord and her custom Foundrae jewellery.

Keeping Casual

Ditching the jewellery, Gwyneth opted for a neutral turtleneck jumper and metal-rimmed glasses by Caddis.

Pretty in Pink

Sporting her own label yet again, the Iron Man actress donned a pink blouse from G.Label by Goop, leather pants by Proenza Schouler White Label and her Celine lace-up boots.

Bundled Up

Looking cheerful on her first day to court, Gwyneth arrived wearing an olive-green coat as well as a cream turtleneck underneath which were both from The Row and accessorised with a pair of Celine lace-up boots and Ray-Ban aviators.

Back to Black

Gywneth ditches the neutrals and lace-up boots for a monochrome outfit consisting of a black polo cashmere shirt and leather boots both by Prada.
