Born in Achrafieh, Lebanon and the youngest of her family of one brother and two sisters, the singer majored in radio and TV media after receiving her university degree from the Lebanese University.
At just sixteen years old, the Sawa singer received a golden award for Fashion at Studio El Fan and only two years later participated in Miss Lebanon. Maya has had nothing less than success in her career, even having been named Fashion Icon of the Arab World by the Arab Fashion Council.
