Queen Rania’s Chic Dinner Look Is A Lesson In Sophisticated Elegance
The Jordanian queen wore regional designers AZZI & OSTA and L’Afshar to a banquet hosted in honour of the visiting Norwegian royals
Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abudullah of Jordan proved at that all that glitters can indeed be gold in her striking new ensemble. Known for her inimitable sense of style, she wore the elegant outfit to a dinner banquet hosted to welcome the Norwegian king and queen, Their Majesties King Harald V and Queen Sonja.
The fashion-forward royal stepped out in a royal blue skirt embroidered with traditional Jordanian kaffiyeh-inspired motifs in goldwork, a piece specially gifted to her. Speaking exclusively to BAZAAR, Lebanese designers Azzi and Osta said: “Dressing Her Majesty Queen Rania, once again, is an honor for the Maison. She has always supported talents from the region, and AZZI & OSTA in particular. The Queen has always been an inspiration to us, one of the utmost elegance, grace, and class.”
The skirt was paired with a lustrous gold blouse and a dark blue L’Afshar box clutch. She finished off the look with understated but elegant jewellery, her leaf-shaped earrings echoing the embroidery of her skirt.
The queen’s daytime look was no less stylish. The former BAZAAR cover star greeted her distinguished guests at a welcoming ceremony in a chic white belted dress. Both on and off-duty, Queen Rania continues to be an inspiration, both as a fashion icon and a role model.
