Even if you haven’t heard of the French fashion brand Jacquemus, you’re probably more aware of it than you think; it’s one of the go-to designers for some of the most photographed members of the street-style set and also counts Emily Ratajkowski and Kendall Jenner as fans.

The very cool brand – which was founded and is run by the Rei Kawakubo protégé Simon Porte Jacquemus – is known for its directional clothing, which often features exaggerated sleeves and over-the-top detail.

You’re likely to recognise one piece more than any other – a polka-dot blouse with exaggerated ruching and puffy sleeves that has been all over our Instagram feeds. It also comes in a wrap-top design that has proven equally popular.

If you want to join the polka-dot army, the blouses are still available on Farfetch and Net-A-Porter, but we suggest you order quickly, because chances are it is going to be a sell-out.

Team it with a contrasting-print pencil skirt and wear to a summer wedding or simply pair it with trousers and pointed pumps for a look that is altogether more casual. Then all that’s left to do is Instagram it.
