Luxury leather goods brand Tod’s has tapped blogger-turned-businesswoman Chiara Ferragni for an exclusive collaboration. The fashion influencer, who boasts nearly 10 million followers on Instagram, worked with the Italian brand's artisans to recreate their signature Double T Gommino moccasins and Diodon bag. The custom-made shoes and handbag have been given a ‘couture’ powder-pink make-over, just in time for summer.
Although she now lives in America, Ferragni also hails from Italy, so it comes as no surprise that Tod’s have chosen the 30-year old internet-sensation to partner with on their latest capsule collection.
Former law student Chiara Ferragni launched her blog, The Blonde Salad, in 2009 and has already found massive success, including her own shoe line, the Chiara Ferragni Collection, international collaborations with an impressive roster of design houses, including Dior, Ermenegildo Zegna, Benetton and Mango, and was named Style Influencer of the Year at the 2016 FN Achievement Awards.
